The lovely Sophie from shiko recently sent me a package of her beautiful ceramic tableware to thank me for helping her set up her online store. I first met Sophie at Finders Keepers last year, and I was quite taken by the quiet beauty of her work. I purchased one of her cups that day, and it has been a favourite ever since.
Sophie’s pieces are exactly the kind I like to have in my home: beautiful, simple, functional and thoughtfully handmade. Made to be used, loved and to last. These are pieces that I will treasure for many years to come.
